Traveling. Wandering. Going. Progressing.
I've just returned to Toronto from a 2 week stint in Colorado. I was visiting some close friends, one getting married, others trying to figure out if the night shift is going to work out for them, while others are sitting a little stir-crazy, desperately trying to work out the logistics of moving to China. Honestly. These are real people.
This is Michelle. Also known as "Roomie". We used to live together in Toronto, before we both decided to be cultrual renegades with Youth With A Mission. Michelle is based in Denver and is an excellent reason to make a visit to the United States. You know. Of America.
Here's the thing about the Greater Denver Area. It's all up and down the foot of the Rockies, so you can't really get away from the auto-gorgeous backdrop. Everywhere you go is pretty. Even if it's Walmart or the 7-11 in some small town where people look at you funny if you're a girl who's shaved her head recently... Breathtaking and natural visual majesty is only just yonder.
(I'm not the girl who shaved her head, by the way. I was making an Ani DiFranco reference. And her hair has since grown back and have been formed into some of the coolest dreads found on the head of a woman. Ani is well received in Boulder, Colorado.)
