Thank you to those of you who showed your gorgeous faces at our gig down on the Danforth, August 20th... We were quite pleased with the sound we produced (*gulp* -only 3 rehearsals!!!), all thanks to Kie the sound guy and a great crowd. If you're wondering what the people had to say about us, here are some of the things I heard:
"Man, you guys were busting out the old favourites!"
And
"I was really pissed off for a second 'cause I thought you were totally ripping off Sarah Harmer. Then I realized it was a cover, so it was okay."
And
"You sounded great. My band's going up in a little bit and we're really loud. Maybe we could sit down and have a pint later?"
Imagine what the press would've said! Next time, maybe... Next time.
So for those of you who weren't there, we missed you, whether it was distance or circumstance that kept you away. And it's especially to you that I'd like to introduce...
